ADAM HAINES/ GRAPHIC DESIGN
As Pablo Picasso once said, “The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.” I create art for the same reason. I chose to take graphic design because I have always been interested in the idea of visual communication. The posters and advertisements I see every day inspire my artwork.
My art represents the way I see the world and conveys my thoughts and attitudes. Every artist’s work is unique because every artist interprets the world in different ways and choses different ways to express their thoughts. My art is unique because it reflects my life experiences that only I am aware of.
Art serves as an outlet to channel my ideas and emotions. Art is also often an escape from the stress and monotony of the school day, whether I am in graphic design class or doodling in math. This semester I have learned how to effectively communicate an idea to a large audience and how to make my artwork more visually appealing.
